My Rylee

Rylee is a girl through and through. She loves baby dolls, dresses, shoes and anything pink. If you give her a bracelet she'll know exactly what to do with it! Mom calls all of Rylee's girlie stuff her "pretty pretties". But whether she has her pretty pretties on or not Rylee marches around the house like a queen. She knows what she wants!
Here is a picture of her new cup. As you can see it is pink and gripped with BOTH hands. This is her cup. Don't mess with it. The first day she had it it took the Jaws of Life to get it from her hands so she could go to bed.
Even though she is very girlie we have so much fun playing. We make forts, race matchbox cars, jump on the bed and make each other laugh. I will even comb her hair from time to time.
You can't help but love her, right? She is a good sister and I wouldn't trade her for the world.

Hi There

I have so much catching up to do on this blog!! When we moved to San Diego last October, I thought I'd take a break. Life was really crazy for a while, I guess. But now that life has calmed a bit I am wanting to share my fun adventures I have with my sis and the pictures to go along with it.
I am loving San Diego!!! I have a great church, home and a bunch of great friends! Every week mom always has something fun for me to do. We go to the beach, zoo, library or have friends come over to play. I love having friends to play with. I make them play baseball, golf or football.
I seem to have a knack for sports. I like to play them and watch them on TV. Being a lefty dad is excited at the thought of me being a pitcher or a QB. I don't mind 'cause I love to throw a ball! I even throw a soccer ball. Kicking it is not as fun. But Rylee loves to dribble a soccer ball. She is really good at it! So if your ever in my neighborhood swing by and come play with us!

What Are You Looking At?

I guess I'm pretty fascinating. I was minding my own business when mom starts snapping pictures of me. She does this a lot. I really don't know what brings it on but it must be something important.
As you can see in this picture, it's a normal day of playing. I had just taken off my pants and put my boots on... by myself, thank you very much! I love the way these boots sound when I walk. Clunk! Clunk! And they are very practical. They keep my feet warm and they have Velcro straps to make things easy for a kid like me. Playtime isn't playtime without them. I highly recommend a sturdy snow boot for all ages

Sister

Here she is! Her name is Rylee Grace but I hear mom calling her Miss Rylee. I'll just call her doggy like I do for everything else. It's my favorite word.

Fun Times

I have had a busy week! My grandma from San Diego came into town to stay with us for a while. At first, I wasn't sure how to act around her, but once she started reading me a new book I decided she was okay to play with. In fact, I had the best time with her! She let me do things that mom and dad never let me do. Mom says that's what grandmas are for. If that's true, I hope she comes around more often!

Mom and I did all kinds of fun things with grandma. One of my favorite days was when we went to this play area that was made just for me! I was allowed to climb on everything! I ran back and forth from the big tree to the bridge and then would stop to ride the frog. These big toys look hard but actually were really squishy and my feet stuck perfectly to them. Mom said I looked like a monkey! I will never forget that day.

There was one day we all went to the doctors. It was mom's doctor. They are my favorite 'cause I don't get any shots! Their job is to make sure that both mom and the baby are doing well. This visit seemed extra special to mom and dad. I didn't understand until I saw a picture of the baby on the t.v.! Mom was so happy to see them that she started crying. Dad was smiling and at one point grandma yelped! Whatever they saw must have been good! I know we have pictures of what we saw so I'll ask mom to help me post them on here. Then, you can look and see what the big deal is!

I really had a fun week with grandma. When we dropped her off at the airport, I gave her a big kiss and told her 'bye'. I was bummed to see her go but she promised that she would see me soon. I can't wait to find out what we will do the next time we are together. Until then, I will try and get mom and dad to let up on the rules and be cool like grandma.

iTunes with Dad

As you can tell, it has been awhile since I have posted anything. I have been too busy with my toys, books and graham crackers. I know you've missed me and reading about my little world so I promise to post more often!

Here is a picture of me and dad. We are listening to some music on the computer together. I love it 'cause music really gets me groovin'! Sometimes mom and dad will catch me dancing and singing in my room. I get a little embarrassed but I can't help myself!

Oh, this morning I had my weekly jam session. After church every Sunday, dad let's me spaz out on the drums. I look forward to it all week. I'd like to think that I am getting just as good as uncle Jason. What's so hard about banging on things with a couple of sticks? I play so hard that I fall asleep in the car on the way home... every time!

Just in case you were wondering, life at home is great. Mom seems to be feeling better these days, so we have a blast together while dad is at work. I'm glad her morning sickness is finally under control. I sure hope this little one is worth all the trouble. Mom says they are, but I'm not sure I'm ready to share my awesome parents...or my TOYS! I have been marking all of my "territory" with smeared peanut butter but mom keeps cleaning it up. Sheesh! How will the baby know what's mine? I have until June to figure it out. Leave me some ideas if you have any.
