Royal Day, Royal Dad

We spent Father's Day at the 'K'. The day couldn't have been more perfect. Beautiful weather, the Royals won and we had sundaes at Sheridan's. I also squeezed in a little cat nap. Thanks for the shoulder, Dad.

That's why he's the best.

Can't Wait to Seymour Papaw & Grandma

Dad, Mom, Max and I piled in the car on Friday and headed out to Seymour, MO. They must have known I was missin' Papaw and Grandma. We got there just in time for dinner and dessert. I couldn't get enough of that chocolate pie! Mom says I'm my father's son...whatever that means.
On Saturday I crawled all around checking out their new home. I had so much room to play. So fun!
We had to leave that same day. I wish we could have stayed longer, but we had a good time anyway.

Swing Kings

A few weeks ago, after church, mom and dad took me to the park. We went on the swings first and dad and I stayed on them for so long that one of the kids finally kicked him off.

It was a good day.

Splish Splash

I made it very clear to mom and dad that I did NOT want to go home. I had the best time playing in the fountains at Legend's.

We went home anyway.

All By Myself

Here I am! Standing tall in my crib. I discovered that if I get on my knees I am able to reach the top of the crib. From there I just pull myself up.
I had mom take a picture to prove that I really can do it. I should have had her take off my socks though.
Sometimes, when mom puts me down for a nap, I get up and play. When she catches me I laugh and she does too!






Like many babies, I love cherrios. For a while, mom and dad fed them to me but now I can feed myself...well, kinda. A lot of them do end up in my lap or on the floor. Max loves me for that. But every once in a while, I'll wiggle one in my mouth. Yum.

Mom makes my drink and just hands it to me. As you can see, I am pretty good at this bottle thing. See how I can hold it with one hand?

My First Blog

Hello family. I am excited to have my own blog. I wanted to keep all of my family up to date on the many things I'm learning. So, here I am, typing away!

Well, I turned 8 months on Saturday. Mom says I am growing up so fast and that I am changing everyday. I think I am cute as the day I was born, maybe cuter.

I have been impressing the babes in the nursery with my crawl. I haven't figured out how to crawl on my knees so I just drag myself by my arms. I am getting faster everyday. Mom is chasing me around all day long. I don't mind because she's so fun. We do all kinds of exciting things. I love when she puts me in my high chair cause I know I am gonna have some cheerios or yummy baby food. Because I am enjoying myself, I wave my hands around. I can't seem to control them when I'm excited.

One of the highlights of my day is when dad comes home. He's the best. Did you know dad does everything mom does? He makes my bottles, changes my diapers and he even puts me down to sleep. I think he dresses me just as cute as mom does. I have the coolest dad.
